Soft mint days

Nasreen hands me the tea, and the soft mint is an added plus. Life is like a poem as me and my residents chat away.

Sunday chilling

The weather takes a turn. Mercury goes down a little. Sunday turns even more beautiful. Each passing hour lazier than the previous one. And then I scream and you scream, we all scream for ice cream.

Kind days

Image
I am totally drained by the time I reach to see this consult. The normal regular public has enjoyed three long holidays, and all I have done is work and work. Our dear Nasreen, gave me this consult. Knowing my workload, she also apologized for giving me this consult, said that 'Aap araaaaam say daikh ligiyay ga' but in the same breath requested me to see it today. I almost dragged myself to see this patient but then smiled cheek to cheek, as I read the line underlined.

Flowers in food

Normal people are on a holiday. Me and so many people like myself, filled with the love of humanity head towards hospitals. And its interesting what the hospital feeds me with. Flowers. Cauliflowers. Its like Bond, James Bond.

Of days so beautiful

I am there fans, alive and healthy. Its been days. So many days. But the connection is there, always. As I sit on my sofa, sip away this beautiful tea, I think of nothing short of being grateful to Allah. The surprise Yes we were surprised, awfully surprised when one of our patient left us a bouquet of amazing flowers and a card with such kind words. We attached the card on our little hall of fame ( notice board), and it will remain there for the next so many days...
