Begginings

Image
The day kick starts with this. I arrive about ten to fifteen minutes before the course starts. Rozina (one of the participants at the Biostats course that I am attending) is usually there before me. So we've made it a tradition to have a cup of tea as we chit chat. Today she said that she would like to make tea for me. It was as below. Absolutely to my liking. Yes the colorful foot is mine. I don't like the slippers much, but they are comfortable and I got them dirt cheap.  Now how do you explain this? You eat crap all day long and you end it with a huge cup of green tea.  Today did not attend Taekwondo and had walnut cake as well. Big deal. Byes for now. Gotta finish the cup above.

Alive and kicking

Back to where I left. My taekwondo classes. Even going to the class made me happy. Most of the kids have changed. But Danish is still around. I shake hands with him, and he excitedly tells me that he is green belt now (btw he is 6 year old). Whatever belts these kids have , they are bought and then kept on the floor. Its an amazing evening as I head home. So on this note I stop, and stare at what the rest of the world is doing. P.S. Yes, my shoes need a clean.

Genes.... Ami makes the nicest of teas. And I do the exact opposite. Its something that genes donot pick up. But then Baba made the horriblest of tea a few days back. There you go then! Not so kurkurey Some lessons you learn from life the hard way. Yes, so I am guilty of munching these beauties at exactly midnight yesterday. I sealed the remaining in the plastic bag. About 18 hours later, they tasted like paper. Seasoned paper. Next time, eat them there and then.  Lonely photo In the biostats course you are not allowed to take tea in the class room. Its 2 pm. Sun is scorching. I finish my tea. In the end I  take this picture so I can add it to my blog for some intellectual comment later.  However no intellectual thought comes to me for now. Just enjoy the pic guys.

Rat kill episode II

Image
Ok guys, so our home has been invaded by a larger then life rat. Huge, fat, black. I absolutely detest him. And I'd seen him on my bed. I jumped that day and left the room to the beast. Episode one was spent cutting tomatoes, and sprinkling the rat kill masala. Overnight the tomatoes rested in the loo. As I closed the bathroom door, I had sarcastically said 'good night sweet heart!'. My brother had a hearty laugh at that.  The next morning........ The tomatoes lay there untouched. And so did the rat I guess. After an intense discussion on this with my father, I gathered that its guava that they like. The next day was spent finding the fruit. Out of season it was. But we found a few. At night I sat, cut them into lovely slices, and sprinkled the rat kill masala. (It was labeled 200% asli!!).  One set of above I left in my bathroom, the other in my parents bathroom and the third in the corridor.  What happened the next morning was like repeat teleca
