An interview with a prominent person

Meet Awais, aka Pachi. He was born in 2005, September 5th. He is staying at our place for two days. His father gave him a pocket money of hundred rupees. So tomorrow we are going to have halwa puri with it. Here is  a glimpse of a little chat with him.

What do you want to do as a career?
Become a doctor.

Why?
Because my father is a doctor.

Favourite subject? 
English.

Why?
Because the Sindhi, Maths teachers are strict.

Favourite food?
Biryani.

Why?
Its good!

Favourite sports?
Friv games (computer game).

Is it important to say the truth?
Yes.

Why?
If we say the truth, our sins will decrease.

What are sins?
Its a very khatarnak thing. Because those insaan will go to hell.

The best thing about Karachi?
The scooty at my cousins place.

Why?
Because I dont know how to enjoy.

 I took a day off work and it felt like the best decision ever! The day was just beautiful, nice and sunny. I had a girl meet up with my friend. She had her 18 month son with her. He has the most perfect dimples when he smiles. We had to sit in a children's area so he could let us talk. Here is what I made out of his veggies..... We had chai Latte. It's chai made with cinnamon and is frothy like coffee.  New beginnings this week I started a group called Quran sisters. In this small group we are learning to understand Arabic in order to understand namaz and quran better. Its going to be baby steps, but I hope to be persistent. On the same note, after months of planning, today I started the weight training. I just exercised with 1 kg weight in each hand. Nineteen days of the month done with. The city holds a jalsa on women empowerment and women dance away to show how powerful they are. After a glorious test comes the exam and our team tumbles. The way our wickets topple down is amazing. The way they make runs is just that amazing.Fours, sixes. Every big hit bores my brothers no end. And then the heated discussion that this is not the one day team that we should play with. On my way to private wing while in the lift, a lady starts talking to me. “You work here don’t you?”, she asks. I nod and smile back. “I hope you could notify something to your administration”, she goes on. I wrinkle my eyebrows in question. “ The café’ its too far away. They should build a café near the private wing”, she concluded. I gave her a long explanation about how we have clean food despite the fact that the café’ is far. She did not agree. One of those who just want to be heard, I ponder shrugging my shoulders and walk away.

Blogging about things that matter. Making a difference. Yes, no, maybe. If drops of water continue to drop on a rock, one day, yes one day, the rock perforates. Well the last thing that I want is people to perforate. They would be referred to surgery , oh yeah. But provided that the rest of their functions are alright.
