Kyun Nikala- review

Kyun Nikala is a stage show by KopyKats productions. We watched it on Saturday at a 5 pm show at Arts counsil.

I sort of knew that it would be a political satire but did not know that it would be this good. Some of the jokes however flew above my head (sar kay upar say guzar gay) but I saw my father laughing hard so I suppose that they must be relevant and funny. Kindly note that I have very limited political knowledge. The last scene was the best, which was a laughing riot.

 All the actors were fantastic, but the best were Sajid Hassan, in the role of a Chaudary and Mohsin Ejaz as Mujeeb Bengali.
There are very few shows left. Do watch it guys.

 I took a day off work and it felt like the best decision ever! The day was just beautiful, nice and sunny. I had a girl meet up with my friend. She had her 18 month son with her. He has the most perfect dimples when he smiles. We had to sit in a children's area so he could let us talk. Here is what I made out of his veggies..... We had chai Latte. It's chai made with cinnamon and is frothy like coffee.  New beginnings this week I started a group called Quran sisters. In this small group we are learning to understand Arabic in order to understand namaz and quran better. Its going to be baby steps, but I hope to be persistent. On the same note, after months of planning, today I started the weight training. I just exercised with 1 kg weight in each hand. Blogging about things that matter. Making a difference. Yes, no, maybe. If drops of water continue to drop on a rock, one day, yes one day, the rock perforates. Well the last thing that I want is people to perforate. They would be referred to surgery , oh yeah. But provided that the rest of their functions are alright. The heart, the lung, the kidneys. And yes, obviously no UTI (urinary tract infection). Last night, while oncall watched Cat Stevens (Yusuf Islam). His songs are amazing. He had a similar beard. He used to wake up early offer prayers and then make breakfast with my nani. Nineteen days of the month done with. The city holds a jalsa on women empowerment and women dance away to show how powerful they are. After a glorious test comes the exam and our team tumbles. The way our wickets topple down is amazing. The way they make runs is just that amazing.Fours, sixes. Every big hit bores my brothers no end. And then the heated discussion that this is not the one day team that we should play with. On my way to private wing while in the lift, a lady starts talking to me. “You work here don’t you?”, she asks. I nod and smile back. “I hope you could notify something to your administration”, she goes on. I wrinkle my eyebrows in question. “ The café’ its too far away. They should build a café near the private wing”, she concluded. I gave her a long explanation about how we have clean food despite the fact that the café’ is far. She did not agree. One of those who just want to be heard, I ponder shrugging my shoulders and walk away.
