Chalay thay sath-a review

Saturday saw us three siblings going for watching 'chalay thay sath'.  It was two hours of fun. The movie was fresh. The locations were fabulous. Made for a craving to visit Hunza. The actors were beautiful. The Chinese guy was cute.  The ladies wore great clothes. I loved the lawn dresses specially. It's a movie you can watch with family with few clean laughs here and there. The songs were also hummable. Go watch it if you like light comedies.

It's been a beautiful day today. I wear a bright yellow to work to kick-start the week. Baba and Arif (my brother) sleep on the way. As usually with plenty of stuff in my hands, my stethoscope falls on the floor as I head for my clinic. A staff (carpenter I guess) picks it up for me and also opens the door for me. I smile a thank you. So many patients later, we take a break for lunch. I share the shami kebab I made with my nurses. They praise. I smile a thank you. It's been a great clinic today. Finished on time as well. As I wait for my gari I sit in the hospital lawn. Most people are heading home. They look likes birds returning. Back home I listen to songs with my bhatija. We sway a little. He smiles his dimpled smile. And I call it a day.

Its Eid. And its meaty Eid. So I try this recipe from 'National' recipe book my father got me sometime back. Its called  'Lakhsmi chowk ki kali mirch ki karhai'. It has some basic ingredients and is very easy to make.  Step One  Add meat, oil, masalas, tomatoes, water, and let it cook on medium flame. Once water evaporates and meat is tender, add yogurt and do bhunai.  Step two Then add butter, ginger and green chilies. Give 'dum' for a minute and eat it with naan, raita and salad. There you go.
